Football Recap: Ravenna Comes Up Short

Ravenna lost against Norton back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Ravens took a blow against the Panthers, falling 56-24. While losing is never fun, the Ravens can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 504th, while the Panthers are ranked 189th).

Ravenna's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Norton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Ravenna will take on rival Woodridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Norton is set to face off against their familiar foe Field at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
