Maine South won the last time they faced Evanston and things went their way on Thursday too. The Hawks were the clear victors by an 11-5 margin over the Wildkits. The win was familiar territory for the Hawks, who have now won four contests in a row.

Maine South got a massive performance out of Luka Stojakovic, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Evan Adamczewski also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.

Maine South always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .559. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April.

Maine South's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-14. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games.
