Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cairo). They took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 99-30 win over the Egyptian Pharaohs. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Pilots with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory (which was Cairo's third in a row) raised their record to 6-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.7 points per game. As for Egyptian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Cairo won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Varsity Opponent on Friday. As for Egyptian, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Northside Baptist Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
