While Comanche's win against Clyde wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Indians won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Bulldogs 43-42. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

A big part of Comanche's victory came down to the chemistry between Cooper Welch and his top target Ct Buford. Welch threw for 226 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 passes while Buford picked up 127 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Those 226 passing yards gave Welch a new career-high.

The win got Comanche back to even at 5-5. As for Clyde, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-3.

Comanche does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clyde, they will take on Vernon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions' defense has only allowed 14.9 points per game this season, so the Bulldogs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
