Eastmont is 8-2 against West Valley since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Wildcats will challenge the Rams at 7:00 p.m. Both teams beat their previous opponents by a single goal, so this matchup might be just as contested.

Eastmont took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past Davis 3-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, West Valley kept a clean sheet against Eisenhower on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cadets, sneaking past 1-0. The game was the first time West Valley have beaten Eisenhower on their pitch since April 1, 2022.

Eastmont's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-8. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three contests. As for West Valley, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 3-9.

Eastmont beat West Valley by a goal in their previous matchup back in April, winning 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
