Basketball Recap: Flint Hills Christian Comes Up Short

Flint Hills Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They took a blow against the Wakefield Bombers, falling 52-23.

Kingsley Smith was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 24 points and 19 boards for Wakefield. That makes it four consecutive games in which Smith has scored at least a third of Wakefield's points. Another player making a difference was Nick Freeman, who posted 14 points.

Flint Hills Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Wakefield, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-18.

Flint Hills Christian has already played their next game (against Newton HomeSchool), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wakefield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
