Soccer Recap: Arete Prep Comes Up Short

Arete Prep managed to keep up with Phoenix Country Day until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Arete Prep CHARGERS came up short against the Phoenix Country Day Eagles, falling 4-1. The CHARGERS were probably out for revenge after losing 4-0 to them when the teams met back in February, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Their goal came courtesy of Owen Whitehead, who's now up to five this season.

Arete Prep has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Phoenix Country Day, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Arete Prep will challenge Chandler Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Phoenix Country Day, they will take on Glendale Prep Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
