Basketball Recap: Gurdon Takes a Loss

Gurdon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 44-30 to the Parkers Chapel Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Go-Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 248th, while the Trojans are ranked 110th).

Gurdon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Parkers Chapel, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Gurdon has already played their next contest (against Ouachita), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Parkers Chapel will welcome Hampton at 7:00 p.m. on January 28th.
