League recap: Barker overpowering for Laguna Hills in past week

Sea View league recap: 3/13/13

Sea View's top pitcher this week was Laguna Hills's Garrett Barker. He picked up one win and 16 strikeouts.

The Hawks had a successful week, as they won three total games to lead the league. Laguna Hills beat Katella 13-0, Irvine 4-1 and the Vaqueros 6-0.

The Hawks' pitching staff had a strong showing this week, allowing only four hits and two walks, both of which led the league.

14 batters hit over .400 this week. The group was paced by Brett Sebade, who collected eight hits in 11 at bats for a .727 average.

Aliso Niguel's Mitchell Brady racked up six RBIs this week, more than any other hitter. For the year, he has racked up seven RBIs, good for seventh in the league.



Brett Sebade drove in four runners as the Wolverines defeated Kennedy 10-9 on Thursday. He went 3-for-3 and scored three runs.

Laguna Hills' Barker struck out nine the Knights hitters en route to a 13-0 victory on March 6. Over his four innings pitched he allowed zero runs on two hits.
