Basketball Game Preview: Wilson Central Wildcats vs. Greenbrier Bobcats + How To Watch

The Wilson Central Wildcats will head out to challenge the Greenbrier Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Wilson Central's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

While Wilson Central didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past Siegel 56-20 on Tuesday. Fans of the Wildcats have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Freedom Pfeil had a dynamite game, going 8-for-16 en route to 21 points in addition to eight steals and five assists. Pfeil is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Brylee Fly was another key player, shooting 45% from the field on her way to 12 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.

Wilson Central smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in seven consecutive games dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Greenbrier challenged Clarksville Academy on Monday. The Bobcats fell 50-43 to the Cougars. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wilson Central's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 32 points thus far. As for Greenbrier, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
