San Juan extended the longest winning streak in 2A - South this week by beating South Summit, 15-9. The victory was the 11th in a row for the Broncos.

San Juan and the Wildcats played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with San Juan eventually emerging with a 15-9 victory. Barkley Christensen threw for 124 yards and one touchdown and ran for 52 yards in the win.

Monty Lee's team's Christensen and Logan Meyer have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Christensen has thrown for 1823 yards this season, while Meyer, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 45 catches for 619 yards. Beaver's Jesse McMullin leads the league in rushing yards with 1008.

Entering into this week's contest against Manti, Christensen is short just 177 passing yards to break 2,000 on the season.

The Beavers made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,081 from 5,301.
