Softball Recap: Skyline's Run of Five Straight Wins Now Over

After a string of five wins, Skyline's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They came up short against the East Leopards, falling 12-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered since March 15th.

Bella Waters made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Addison Henninger was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 11-14. As for East, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Skyline will welcome Olympus at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Titans will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for East, they will host Granger at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
