Soccer Recap: Harding Academy Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lausanne Collegiate, Harding Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 4-2 win over the LaFayette Ramblers. The high-scoring effort was just what Harding Academy needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

They hit LaFayette with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Cristiano Zelaya (2), Mason Reed, and Reese Baughman.

Harding Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for LaFayette, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Coming up, Harding Academy will square off against Madison Academy at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Harding Academy's defense better be ready for this one: Madison Academy have averaged an impressive 2.6 goals per game this season. As for LaFayette, they will take on Muskogee at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
