Basketball Game Preview: Selah Vikings vs. Ellensburg Bulldogs

The Selah Vikings will face off against the Ellensburg Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Selah's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Selah is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Prosser just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 80-67 to the Mustangs.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ellensburg). They breezed by Othello to the tune of 94-65 on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Bulldogs who have now won three matchups in a row.

Ellensburg is also on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points per game. As for Selah, their loss dropped their record down to 15-4.

Selah strolled past Ellensburg when the teams last played back in January by a score of 75-58. Will Selah repeat their success, or does Ellensburg have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
