Football Recap: Chase Skates Past West Caldwell with Ease

Chase had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 59-22 win over the West Caldwell Warriors. The game marked the Trojans' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Leading Chase to victory were Darin Tipton and Keyontae Wingo. Tipton threw for 298 yards and five TDs, while Wingo gained 196 total yards and three touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Tipton a new career-high in rushing yards (53). Brycen McSwain was in the mix too, providing Chase with two scores.

Chase was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 302 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Chase's defense stepped up as well, laying out Joshton Blankenship. five times. In that department, Torrian Mashburn was the leader with two sacks. Chase received some extra help from Eugene Wilkins, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Chase's record now sits at 3-1. As for West Caldwell, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
