With a playoff win on the line, Boyd-Buchanan rose to the challenge on Monday. They claimed a resounding 72-39 win over the King's Academy Lions. The Buccaneers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 contests by 25 points or more this season.

The victory was the 15th in a row for Boyd-Buchanan, bringing their record for this year to 24-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 33.5 points. As for King's Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-16.

Looking ahead, Boyd-Buchanan will square off against Christian Academy of Knoxville at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Boyd-Buchanan knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Christian Academy of Knoxville likes a good challenge. King's Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
