Baseball Game Preview: Burton Pumas vs. Gateway Gators

The Burton Pumas will challenge the Gateway Gators at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Burton is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They came up short against Lick-Wilmerding, falling 19-12.

Juan Sanchez was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two).

Meanwhile, Gateway unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 10-2 to Stuart Hall on Tuesday.

Burton now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Gateway, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
