Volleyball Recap: Windsor's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

If Windsor was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Lewis Mills last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors came up short against the Glastonbury Guardians on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

While Windsor was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-19, 25-17.

Nathan Le paced Windsor's offense, picking up ten kills. Le got some help from Maximilian Esquiagola Ayala and his 19 assists.

Having lost for the first time this season, Windsor fell to 5-1. As for Glastonbury, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Windsor will take on Southington at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Glastonbury, they will be playing at home against Farmington at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Guardians' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
