Baseball Recap: Geneva Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Geneva can now relate to. They lost 14-0 to the Trinity Christian Academy Eagles on Monday. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Geneva's loss dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-14 record this season.

While Geneva had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
