Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Monmouth Academy). They were the clear victors by a 12-4 margin over the St. Dominic Saints on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Saints: they've now won three in a row.

Monmouth Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for St. Dominic, their defeat ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monmouth Academy will head out to take on Oak Hill at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for St. Dominic, they will take on Mount View at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Saints' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
