Baseball Recap: Scotland Takes a Loss

Scotland lost against Pinecrest back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Fighting Scots came up short against the Patriots, falling 11-1. The Fighting Scots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Scotland's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Pinecrest, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Scotland will face off against Overhills at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Jaguars will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Fighting Scots surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pinecrest, they will square off against Myers Park at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Patriots' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
