Central entered their tilt with Crystal Lake South on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Gators with a sharp 14-2 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-0 back in April.

Addisyn Petersen looked comfortable as she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Addison Beltran, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Nina Garcia was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

The victory got Central back to even at 12-12. As for Crystal Lake South, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-1 loss against Crystal Lake Central on the 5th. As for Crystal Lake South, they have also already played their next contest, a 20-0 defeat against Hampshire on the 5th.
