Baseball Game Preview: Northridge Grizzlies vs. Poudre Impalas

The Northridge Grizzlies are taking a road trip to face off against the Poudre Impalas at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Northridge hasn't scored more than a single run for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Severance hit Northridge with a 13-run first inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Grizzlies lost 18-1 to the Silver Knights.

Northridge saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaycob Lermon, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Poudre was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Windsor.

Poudre's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Northridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-17.
