Softball Recap: Grandview Comes Up Short

Grandview lost against East Valley on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Greyhounds lost 16-4 to the Red Devils. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aaliyah Hernandez was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

Grandview's loss dropped their record down to 6-12-2. As for East Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Grandview will head out on the road to face off against Quincy at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Greyhounds are facing the Jackrabbits at the right time seeing as the Jackrabbits are stuck on an 18-game losing streak. East Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
