Baseball Recap: Wolfe City Beats Leonard for Their Third Straight Win

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Wolfe City ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past the Leonard Tigers 6-5. The Wolves' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Wolfe City saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Casen Pessel, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-5. Another was Daniel Garcia, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Wolfe City's record now sits at 3-0. As for Leonard, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.
