Softball Game Preview: Trinity Trojans vs. Independence Blue Devils

For the second straight game, Trinity will face off against Independence. The Trojans will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against the Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. Trinity has given up an average of 16.5 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Trinity fell victim to Independence and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 14-0 to the Blue Devils. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The win was the third in a row for Independence, bringing their record up to 5-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Trinity, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
