The Olympic Heights Lions won the last time they faced the Spanish River Sharks, and things went their way on Thursday too. Olympic Heights walked away with a 57-50 victory over Spanish River.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Olympic Heights to victory, but perhaps none more so than Devon Brenner, who scored 11 points along with six assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Cadet, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds.
Olympic Heights' win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-7. As for Spanish River, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
Olympic Heights will head out on the road to take on West Boca Raton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Spanish River, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Boca Raton at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Boca Raton's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six contests.
