Volleyball Game Preview: Liberty Leopards vs. Chaney Cowboys + How To Watch

Liberty has gone a perfect 4-0 against Chaney recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Leopards will welcome the Cowboys at 7:00 p.m. Chaney took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Liberty, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with 16 defeats in a row, Liberty turned things around against Kennedy Catholic on Saturday. They came out on top against Kennedy Catholic by a score of 3-1.

Liberty was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-18, 24-26, 25-19.

Kiera Thigpen was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 14 digs and eight aces. Those 14 digs gave her a new career-high.

Thigpen wasn't the only good servers: Liberty was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. The Leopards are 4-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Meanwhile, Chaney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to Alliance.

The final score came out to 25-15, 10-25, 25-10, 25-13.

Liberty's victory bumped their record up to 4-17. As for Chaney, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-16.

Liberty came out on top in a nail-biter against Chaney in their previous matchup back in August, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Leopards repeat their success, or do the Cowboys have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
