Football Preview: Tyrone Golden Eagles vs. Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders        
        
		
             The Tyrone Golden Eagles will take on the Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Hopefully Tyrone focused on turnovers this week  as the team gave up four on Friday.
 Things were looking good for Tyrone after they put the first points on the board, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell  28-21 to Bellwood-Antis.
 Defeat or not, Tyrone got some senior leadership from  Seth Hoover and  Gayge Miller.  Hoover rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown, while  Miller picked up 140 receiving yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance gave  Hoover a new career-high in  rushing yards.
 Meanwhile, Bishop Guilfoyle put another one in the bag  on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Central by a score of  23-12. Given the Marauders' advantage  in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings  (they are ranked 79th, while the Dragons are ranked 206th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
  Taurean Consiglio was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 108 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, while also picking up 48 receiving yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  picking up  a  sack and making 17 total tackles (2.0 for loss) in addition to snagging   an  interception. Bishop Guilfoyle also got help from  Hamilton Gates, who showed off his sure hands for 82  receiving yards.
 Tyrone now  has a losing record at 2-3. As for Bishop Guilfoyle, their victory was  their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 5-0.
 Tyrone barely slipped by Bishop Guilfoyle in their previous meeting  back in September of 2023, winning  28-27. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was   Gates, who picked up 66 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 39 yards. Now that he's  got a second chance to win this matchup, will Tyrone still be able to contain  Gates? There's only one way to find out.
