Recap: Louise Hornets vs. Goliad Tigers
On Thursday, Louise was able to grind out a solid victory over Goliad, taking the game 43-33.
Among those leading the charge was Madison Grant, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Monica Montes, who scored 8 points along with 11 rebounds.
Louise's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Goliad, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Louise's road trip will continue as they head out to face Non Varsity Tournament Opponent at 2:30 p.m. on November 30th. As for Goliad, they will square off against St. Joseph on Saturday. St. Joseph is on a three-game streak of home losses, Goliad a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
