Baseball Recap: Ellison Comes Up Short

Ellison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 29th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Troy Trojans, falling 17-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Eagles were not able to get on the board.

Ellison's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Troy, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 22-2.

Ellison didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-1 victory against Vanguard College Prep on the 20th. As for Troy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 11-0 win against West on the 21st.
