Volleyball Recap: Academy of Richmond County Starts off Right with Win over Alleluia Community

Academy of Richmond County gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They blew past the Alleluia Community Angels 3-0. The Musketeers have beaten the Angels the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Angels has come to flipping the script.

Academy of Richmond County walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-11, 25-17, 25-20.

Looking ahead, Academy of Richmond County will square off against Grovetown at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alleluia Community, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Harlem on the 13th.
