Baseball Recap: Chesaning Comes Up Short

Chesaning fell victim to Reese and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 11-0 to the Rockets. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Indians were not able to get on the board.

Chesaning saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Zyrowski, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that Zyrowski has snagged this season.

Chesaning's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Reese, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Reese has already played their next contest (against Laker), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Chesaning will be paying especially close attention to the Rockets' game: after the Rockets face off against the Lakers, they'll take on Chesaning again at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
