Basketball Recap: Wakefield Takes a Loss

Wakefield lost to McLean back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors fell 46-39 to the Highlanders. The Warriors just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Wakefield's record is now 4-11. As for McLean, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-15.

Looking ahead, Wakefield will be playing at home against Washington-Liberty at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Generals have now posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. As for McLean, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Herndon at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Highlanders will be up against the Hornets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 55.48 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
