Basketball Recap: Carver A&T Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lansdowne back in December of 2024, Carver A&T came back down to earth. The Carver A&T Wildcats fell to New Town 41-35. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 53-51 to them when the teams met on Wednesday, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, Carver A&T still got an impressive performance from Jordan Carrington, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Carrington a new career-high in rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ella Morrison, who posted four points.

Carver A&T's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for New Town, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-5-1.

Carver A&T wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 49-21 victory against Overlea on the 10th. As for New Town, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-35 win against Eastern Tech on the 10th.
