Football Recap: Toll Gate Comes Up Short on the Road Against East Greenwich

Toll Gate had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a blow against the East Greenwich Avengers on Thursday, falling 32-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 55-20 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2015.

East Greenwich was led to victory by Mark Bradshaw and Christian Bussiere. Bradshaw threw for 76 yards and three TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes, while Bussiere picked up 40 receiving yards and a pair of scores. That's the most passing yards Bradshaw has posted since back in September of 2024.

Toll Gate and East Greenwich will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Titans will face off against rival Juanita Sanchez Complex at 1:00 p.m. on the 13th. Meanwhile, East Greenwich is set to challenge their familiar foe Ponaganset at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th.
