Basketball Recap: Beckman Comes Up Short

Beckman suffered their closest defeat since February 2, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of the Regina Regals by a score of 49-47. While losing is never fun, the Trailblazers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 207th, while the Regals are ranked 68th).

Beckman's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Regina, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.

Beckman has already played their next match (against Bellevue), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Regina will square off against Wilton at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
