NSU University put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the South Broward Bulldogs with a sharp 10-3 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Sharks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Aidan Jacobs looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits.

At the plate, NSU University let Rocco Rovetto and Devin Mila run wild. Rovetto scored two runs while going 1-for-3, while Mila scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Mark Manuel was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

NSU University always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .553. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Broward only posted an OBP of .290.

NSU University's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for South Broward, they now have a losing record of 2-3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. NSU University will host Dr. Krop at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. NSU University's pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so Dr. Krop's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for South Broward, they will be taking part in a tournament against Everglades at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
