Volleyball Game Preview: Bellefonte Raiders vs. Central Cambria Red Devils

The Bellefonte Raiders will challenge the Central Cambria Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Bellefonte came up short against Forest Hills on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-20, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Central Cambria made easy work of Bellwood-Antis on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Devils.

One reason for the win was Central Cambria's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15, 25-4.

Bellefonte better focus on containing Riley Kauffman and Rowan Ruddek as the pair were huge in Central Cambria's win. Kauffman had 23 assists, while Ruddek had ten digs. That's the most digs Ruddek has posted over her last six matches.

Central Cambria was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in four consecutive contests.

Bellefonte's loss dropped their record down to 11-11-2. As for Central Cambria, their win bumped their record up to 22-4-1.
