The Chiefs came up short against the Yellowjackets, falling 36-10. While losing is never fun, the Chiefs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked 106th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 30th).

Meanwhile, Waynesville took a blow against Nixa on Friday, falling 55-14. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-0.

Waynesville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Kickapoo, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 0-7.

Kickapoo strolled past Waynesville when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a score of 42-28. Will the Chiefs repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
