Basketball Recap: Bunker Hill Comes Up Short

Bunker Hill lost against Lincolnwood back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bunker Hill Minutemen fell 59-50 to the Lincolnwood Lancers. The Minutemen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Bunker Hill still got an impressive performance from Cole Yates, who posted 22 points. That was a full 44% of Bunker Hill's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's scored more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Yates, who put up 11 points.

Bunker Hill's record now sits at 2-11. As for Lincolnwood, they moved to 7-8 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Bunker Hill will challenge Southwestern at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincolnwood, they will take on Mt. Pulaski at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
