St. Joseph Central had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 67-35 win over the Sherman Tide. That's more bragging rights for the Irish, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

St. Joseph Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Noah Keaton, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 18 points and four steals. Isaiah Sanders was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 12 rebounds.

St. Joseph Central now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Sherman, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Joseph Central will venture away from home to challenge Tug Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tug Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 games -- so hopefully St. Joseph Central likes a good challenge. As for Sherman, they will head out on the road to face off against Liberty at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Sherman is facing Liberty at the right time seeing as Liberty is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
