Basketball Recap: Woodsboro Takes a Loss

Woodsboro was the 54-39 winner over Yorktown when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Woodsboro Eagles took a 48-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yorktown Wildcats on Tuesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Woodsboro's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Yorktown, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-8.

Woodsboro will be playing in front of their home fans against Port Aransas at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Port Aransas' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups. As for Yorktown, they are taking a road trip to face off against Three Rivers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
