Soccer Recap: Menendez Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Menendez and Bishop Kenny squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Menendez had to settle for second. They came up short against the Bishop Kenny Crusaders, falling 9-1. The Falcons have struggled against the Crusaders recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Menendez's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Bishop Kenny, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-2-2.

Menendez will take on Stanton at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th. Menendez is facing Stanton at the right time seeing as Stanton is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bishop Kenny, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, an 8-0 win against Riverside on the 29th.
