LEAD Academy was the clear victor by a 64-41 margin over the The Chargers. Given LEAD Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 190th, while the The Chargers are ranked 395th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Anthony Petway continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 21 points along with seven steals and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Kam'ron Howse, who scored ten points along with two blocks.
LEAD Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season. As for Stem Preparatory Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.
