Recap: Bureau Valley Storm vs. Stark County Rebels
The Bureau Valley Storm have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 56-36 margin over Stark County. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bureau Valley also won the last time the pair played back in November.
Bureau Valley was led to victory by Kate Salisbury and Taylor Neuhalfen. Salisbury scored 14 points along with six rebounds, while Neuhalfen scored 19 points. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Libby Endress, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Bureau Valley's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Stark County, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Monmouth-Roseville the next time they take the court. Stark County will head out to face Monmouth-Roseville at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, while Bureau Valley will head out to face them at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
