Oswego won the last time they faced Plainfield Central and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Panthers came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

The victory didn't come easy: Plainfield Central scored at least 21 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21.

Peter Barnes paced Oswego's offense, picking up eight kills. Barnes got some help from Greyson Covay and his 17 assists. Aidan Schmitt controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Oswego's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Plainfield Central, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Oswego didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Benet Academy on the 17th. As for Plainfield Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Lockport on the 18th.
