Baseball Recap: Vintage Takes a Loss

Vintage suffered their closest defeat since March 14, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Petaluma Trojans by a score of 10-8. The Crushers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Bo Lode made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That stolen base was his first of the season. Dario Freschi was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.

This is the second loss in a row for Vintage and nudges their season record down to 4-4. As for Petaluma, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

While Vintage had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
