Softball Recap: Chatsworth Comes Up Short

Chatsworth lost against El Camino Real back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Chancellors lost 17-1 to the Royals. The Chancellors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chatsworth saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sammy Roldan, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Chatsworth's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for El Camino Real, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season.

Chatsworth wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-1 defeat against Birmingham on the 5th. As for El Camino Real, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-1 loss against Granada Hills Charter on the 7th.
