Having struggled with five defeats in a row dating back to last season, Mountain View Christian Academy turned things around against Lake Lure Classical Academy on Thursday. They never let the Raptors get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. The Mustangs' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Charlie Quin made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Quin was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-2.
In other batting news, Cash Young was excellent, scoring a run while going 1-for-1. That run was his first of the season. Kyle Smith was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

Community Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Mountain View Christian Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal.
